Jonnica Dozier, DPM, FABPM
Jonnica Dozier, DPM, believes that the best foot care requires a collaborative approach between the podiatrist and their patient. Dr. Dozier listens empathetically and works with each of her patients to better understand how to reduce their pain and bring them relief. Dr. Dozier is also passionate about patient education. During her time as a podiatrist, she has observed a variety of conditions, and hopes to inform more people about podiatric problems, including foot and heel pain, as well as ingrown toenails, to make better decisions about their foot care. A passion for education plays a central role in Dr. Dozier’s understanding of podiatric problems in greater detail. She received the Office of Naval Research Scholarship to attend Florida A&M University, where she achieved her Bachelor of Science in Pre-Medicine Biology. Upon completion, she earned her Master’s degree in Public Health (with a special focus on Health Promotion and Disease Prevention) from George Washington University. She then pursued further educational opportunities, achieving her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from Barry University School of Graduate Medical Sciences and received further specialty training in her residency program at the Atlanta VA Medical Center. Dr. Dozier is a board-certified podiatrist from the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM), as well as holding active memberships in the American Podiatric Medical Association and Georgia Podiatric Medical Association. She is also a contributing author of the 4th Ed McGlamry’s Comprehensive Textbook of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Residents in Bethlehem, Georgia, who are looking for a thoughtful and dedicated podiatrist, should schedule a time to meet with Dr. Dozier at Premier Podiatry, INC.
